How Dromana works
Dromana turns one photo into a short video or a restyled portrait. Here is everything you need to know, from your first tap to downloading the result.
1. Browse first, sign in when you generate
You can open every look, example and prompt without an account. Tap a tile on Explore or an effect page and it opens AI Video or AI Image with that example filled in, ready for your own photo.
We only ask you to sign in when you press Generate. Use Google or a one-time email code; there is no password to remember.
2. AI Video: one photo, a 5-second clip
Upload a JPG, PNG or WebP up to 8 MB, pick a look and, if you like, add a short note about the motion. Each clip is 5 seconds and silent, and is usually ready in a minute or two.
Dromana renders at 768p and handles everything from a smile, a head turn or clouds drifting over a landscape to bigger, full-body moves, and your free sign-up credits cover two of its clips. The 1080p and longer models cost more credits.
3. AI Image: restyle a photo
Upload a selfie or portrait and choose a look such as Y2K flash, an 80s portrait, an editorial fashion shot or a cinematic city grade. The result keeps your face and pose and changes the light, outfit and setting. Pick a vertical or horizontal frame before you generate.
4. Credits
New accounts get 70 free credits when they sign up; they last 30 days. Free accounts also get 35 credits on their first visit each day (members get 20), which last 7 days. A 5-second clip uses 70 credits on Dromana at 768p (looks included), a Dromana Image uses 10, and upgrading a clip to HD uses 16 per second. Other models cost more and the studio shows the figure before you generate.
Starter adds 900 credits a month ($4.99 for your first month if you have never paid), Pro 3,200 and Max 7,000, on monthly or yearly billing alike. There is no card-required trial: the free credits are the way to try, and a plan starts the day you pay. Anyone can buy credit packs (500 credits for $8, or $6 for members), which last 12 months; without a plan, results keep the watermark. If a render fails, its credits go straight back to your balance.
5. Watermarks and HD
Free videos and images carry a small Dromana watermark. Paid results don't. Members can also press Make HD on a finished clip for a sharper version.
6. Your photos
Only upload photos you have the right to use, of people who are fine with it. Uploads and results are deleted after 30 days, and you can delete a clip sooner yourself. A share link stops working once the clip is deleted.
